The stream talent coming out of Romania seems to be never-ending right now and with good reason. The newest on the block is the debut release from new imprint Geodesic and with it the maiden outing for Romanian artist Ardb, new monkier used by Bogdan Ardeleanu, one third of Lisiere Collectif crew.
The new EP with the new moniker is also coming with a remix from none other than Reedale Rise on the flip side.
It is, however, the broken acid funk of A1 lead track ‘Mind Drift’ that we exclusively present to you in full.
From the out ‘Mind Drift’ transports the ear to a dream like state and holds it there with funky yet muted breakbeat kicks, reverberating hats and snares, and an insistent but not over powering 303 line. Flickering hi hats skip in and out of focus while the acid keeps time right through the track.
If this is Bogdan’s first EP exploring new sounds under the Ardb name, great things lie ahead for this young Romanian.
