Ecuadorian artist ALMAT returns to Soul47 Records with a three-tracker tech house workout all of his own making.
We firstly take aim at “Your Body” where ALMAT channels his Latin American flair with a hi energy tech house groove. This is then enhanced further by the infectious vocal that loops throughout. Harking back to the tech house of old, a flanged percussion punctuates the rhythms perfectly.
Back at the beginning of the release we find “Wrong Groove”, a minimalist entry that leans on rattling percussion and low slung beats. Taking cues from a point in the minimal gone by, ALMAT also manages to bring in shades of acid to the fold. Completing the EP is title track “Feel The Beat” and rounding out the package with a tooly tech house groove
