London-born Ben Sterling has spent the past several years moving steadily from promising local name to genuinely international presence — and the trajectory feels earned rather than rushed.
His 2022 remix of Tiga’s “Mind Dimension” was the moment that sharpened wider attention, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about records of that year. Since then the production work has continued to build across labels like Diynamic, Crosstown Rebels, OBLONG and Solid Grooves — a catalogue that reflects both ambition and a firm grasp on where he comes from. Being able to tread the fine line between main room billing alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Loco Dice, and East End Dubs, and sweaty, heads-only basements and back rooms, Ben is equally in demand in both.
Alongside his DJ and production work he runs Planet X, a label and event series that has become central to his artistic identity, alongside sub-imprint X-Files which stays close to the white label and edits world he grew up in.
