It is hard to imagine the London underground before Enzo Siragusa minted the FUSE brand. This is a bold claim, but it is a totally fair comment given the mark that both Enzo and his brainchild have had on today’s current tech house sound. What is even more impressive is that it didn’t seem so long ago we were discussing FUSE turning 10, now another landmark is on the horizon and even after 15 years there is no slowing down. It is impossible to discuss Enzo without heaping praise on FUSE, but there is much more to this unassuming raver than just his clubbing brand. His roots as a raver still informs everything that he does both in front and behind the decks and we doubt that this will ever change.
House and techno is in Enzo’s blood, but so too is Drum & Bass, and he is well known for rolling out a vinyl only section from time to time as well as dropping a few bombs in his more extended sets. This breaks infused combination has stood Enzo very well as he weaves his way through his musical journey that has seen the lion’s share of his studio output come via his own beloved FUSE and Infuse imprints.
On the horizon there are a few very special dates indeed to mark in your diary which include their huge ADE showcase on Saturday, October 21 with Apollonia, Raresh, Rossi., Sweely, and Traumer. Then, there is, by his own admission, the biggest event that he has ever devised – Fuse x WHP. The Manchester epic will again feature the French trio as well as Chris Stussy, Gene On Earth, Josh Baker, Laidlaw, Lauren Lo Sung, Pach, Reeshy, RPR Soundsystem, Sonja Moonear, The Ghost, tINI, and Traumer. So basically everybody.
To get you in the mood for either or both of these events, we are proud to present a brand new mix from the man himself.
