Trommel.172 – Alec Falconer

Alec Falconer could perhaps be one of the hardest working artists in music right now. From his insane touring schedule that has recently taken him all over Europe and further a field to his many labels, releases, and his many other side projects. Perhaps what Alec is best known for is Ba Dum Tish, the co-founded distro for some of the most outrageous music committed to wax and its sister labels are home to his own underbite inducing productions.

For the next edition of our podcast series Alec keeps it strictly house on this groove packed journey recorded live at Lion & Lamb. Taken from his debut all nighter back in April, we can guarantee there would have been some epic underbites on show this night. From the deeper side of his house spectrum, through jazzy piano led wonders, up to the bass fuelled pingers that Alec is so well known for, the party vibe never drops below a high simmer for too long before boiling over again. The Lion & Lamb is one of the finest intimate venues in London, so the prospect of being front and center when this barrage of gems was unveiled is a moist one. We can’t rewind time (yet), so this live recording is the next best thing from a master of his craft.
