French trio Kitchen Plug are already blazing a path across your favourite labels and parties. Their high energy take on electro flecked house music stops off at many bases along the way. This approach has led to them releasing on en vogue imprints Chat Noir Tools, Groove to The Grave Records, as well as their own Gloom Slayer’s series. In their imitable style, Kitchen Plug are straight out of the blocks with “Playback FM” and with their French roots shining through with this synthy disco banger. Crunchy snares and deeply satisfying kicks are the order of the day, and with the combination the bassline and bit-crushed synths, you have yourself a tongue-in-cheek weapon. The emotive content of the synths really elevates the mood here, but the phone call skits temper the mood fantastically.
