You may know this artist as Dumitrescu, but today he appears under his AI Robot guise for our Free Download series. In an alternative universe this Romanian producer released on highly respected labels such as Particular, Atipic, and more recently Chaos. Under his electro-leaning AI Robot alias, he is now starting to build a formidable discography. Stopping off recently on the EYALIEN imprint, he in good company as this is a collab label between EYA and Alien Communications and previous to that Lirica Archives White series.
Straight the blocks AI Robot means business with “Blue Reflection” with a barrage of snare hits and arpeggiating synths. This is only a prelude to the outrageous bassline that soon comes thundering into view. The bleepy goodness ramps up in intensity with the arrival of a more emotive direction that beds in nicely with the more abrasive elements. The contrast results in a peak time bomb that hits hard but also offers more to the floor than just a collection of pumping sounds. Given the pristine sound qulaity, it will not be a surprise to learn that “Blue Reflection” was mastered by the one and only Christopher Ledger.
