2021: Relive a year of Trommel podcasts

For a year that started with so much uncertainty when it came to nightlife and live music there has been absolutely no shortage of inspiring podcast episodes during 2021. Our main series began the year with a heavy weight live set from long-time studio partners DeWalta and Mike Shannon and not a week passed without more and more heat dropping. As well as huge established artists such as Margaret Dygas, Petre Inspirescu, Amorf (live), tINI, Traumer, San Proper, and Cabanne we also gave a nod to the stars of the present and future. From Voigtmann’s supercharged house, Mr G’s infectious grooves and Michelle’s hardware electro jams there literally was something for all tastes on our podcast offerings.

As the old saying goes “Variety is the spice of life” and we offered up a huge cross section of underground sounds. This was even more truer with our InSession podcast series in which we shone a light on the artists that pushing new strains of underground music and are making a name for themselves on the world circuit. This also had a very strong start to year with Amorf synth master Micha Blanos turning in an epic live set, followed by the likes of Kepler, Duc In Altum, North Phase, Den Haas and a slew of mixes from the RA+RE crew.

Believe us when we say that we have already locked in a barrage of highly sought after artists for 2022 and some that you didn’t even know you needed in your life yet. Thanks for listening…
