Ricardo Villalobos and Steve Rachmad set for extended B2B set later this month

Extended sets from Ricardo Villalobos are fairly commonplace as he relishes the opportunity to dig into the far corners of his extensive record bag. As much as this is true there are very few artists that he will share this journey with but when he does the result is nothing short of a musical education.

One such artist that is more than equipped to join Ricardo on an all night long set is Steve Rachmad. With esteemed Dutch artist Rachmad recently turning 50 years young he will be celebrating this milestone by inviting the Chilean maestro to his home town of Amsterdam for a 7 hour back to back marathon on Saturday, December 28^th.

Taking place at one of the city’s top new venues Lofi Ricardo handed over the decks over to Rachmad at this year’s Awakenings x FRRC x VBX shindig after his combined set alongside another long-term sparring partner Raresh so the relationship between these 2 artists is deep-rooted. Just one example of this is Ricardo’s huge support of Steve’s remix of Frankie Goes To Hollywood’s legendary ‘Relax’. It is safe to say that you do not want to miss out on this mouth-watering prospect of catching two top artists in full control of a venue as special as Lofi.
