Founded in 2020 by Kay Ross, a well-known photographer who has been documenting the electronic underground scene for the last 15 years, the concept of the event revolves around the idea that beautiful people create beautiful parties, with each attendee being carefully selected from the organizer’s past experiences in the scene. The result is an exciting fusion of music connoisseurs and young, educated partygoers who travel from afar to attend each edition. This year we are expecting the thrilling event on the last weekend of May, between 26-28 of May.
Red Dot is a private retreat that caters to artists and was established with the aim of building a strong and considerate community with shared values. Although music is the central focus, it’s only one of the many aspects of the event. Located in the stunning Apuseni Mountains and just 40 km away from Cluj-Napoca International Airport, the venue boasts awe-inspiring natural surroundings, providing the perfect backdrop for attendees to get lost in daydreams while enjoying the music.
At the gathering, a range of accommodation options in the form of charming chalets and lodges scattered throughout the valley can be found, all located within a short walking distance of each other and the dance floor. A small village of like-minded individuals who come together for three days of music and fun comes to life during this time.
To encourage a strong sense of community, Red Dot incorporates socializing over meals and around campfires into their concept. Their team of skilled chefs has been providing delicious brunches, dinners, and snacks for attendees since the first edition.
