London promoter My Cuppa Tea has been quietly building something rather special with its string of hotly anticipated parties. From their first events last year, they have grown their family circle exponentially and with guests like Secret Sundaze don Giles Smith, Deep Into Soul boss Sy Sez, a raft of local selectors, and the My Cuppa Tea residents the sky is the limit. With the dance floor at West London venue Undr still reverberating from their summer party they are now winding up for their biggest party yet.
Taking place on Saturday, November 2nd at Undr, My Cuppa Tea has an outrageous Halloween party with a scary amount of talent in attendance. Firstly, they are bringing in one of the pivotal artists in the fabric team and his work at Charthouse Street cannot be understated. Harry McCanna’s deft selection skills have seen him play every inch of this hallowed club and his recent tour around its many rooms during the recent 25th anniversary extended session was something truly something to witness. As well as his undeniable skills in the DJ booth, Harry is jointly responsible for one of the UK’s finest labels NorthSouth Records.
Joining Harry will be East London legend Darren Roach and Darren’s productions and DJ sets have been gracing clubs and record bags since the heady days of Acid House. His Studiotek Records imprint has been a staple in the UK scene since the late 90s and as well as these sought-after productions, Darren has also recently penned an LP for Gene On Earth’s Limousine Dream label. Adding to the already popping lineup will be the My Cuppa Tea resident team of Drew Karma, Louis Raymond, Von Adams, and Bellzy.
As if the assorted artists are not enough of a draw, My Cuppa Tea will be encouraging all in attendance to dress up and get into the spirit of Halloween by dressing up and there will even be prizes for the best getup.
