After more than a year Closer crew comes back to Zenner with a full-scale Closer event. The celebration will take place on two dance floors of Zenner, featuring a special lighting installation and decorations.
This is a big anniversary which is divided across two countries: Ukraine (already happened in Kyiv on Oct 14-15) and Germany (this one) and this way Closer crew is presenting all the 16 dear residents of their club. For the event at Zenner they are bringing as many Closer residents as possible – 12 out of 16 – which never happened during the war and rarely even during peaceful times. The rest 4 DJs would be showcased online on YouTube via Mudd Show, which went to Kyiv to shoot during the Kyiv part of the big celebration. The place of Zenner will be rethought and adjusted with a special video-mapping installation in Saal.
As usual at Closer’s big events, a non-dance electronic act will open the night (at 22:00) – a Ukrainian musician Mykola Lebed will perform his live on the floor in the middle of the room, full of ambient and electronica, with saxophone + electronic instruments. Also, the DJ set of Olha Bekenshtein (she is Closer’s live-music-curator, AmIJazz festival founder, and world music DJ) will be featured.
