INPUT in Barcelona continue to blast away the January blues

INPUT is without a doubt one of Europe’s premiere music venues, and for very good reason. The club has always been entrenched in the underground but this only goes part of the way to explain just how unmissable INPUT is. Since their first events, the Barcelona venue has been much more than just a club. So, it is no surprise that they have begun 2023 the way in which they finished 2022 – firing on all cylinders.

Straight out of the blocks on New Year’s Day they welcomed to their expansive mainstage the high-octane team of Cuartero, Chris Stussy, Sweely, regulars The Deals and Hitch. What better way to blow away the cobwebs of the night before than an explosive rave in one of the best clubs on the planet.

Certainly, not one for resting on their laurels, INPUT next opened its doors to the one and only Pedro aka Petre Inspirescu. As their name suggests, INPUT is well known for their pristine Funktion One soundsystem. There are few artists that can be guaranteed to have the entire dancefloor eating out of the palm of their hand in no time at all. Providing the warmup was well versed resident DJ, The Deals.

For some, Friday 13th is unlucky but this year this date is anything but unlucky. Barcelona’s resident bad boy promoters Loud-Contact will be taking the reins. The LC crew are well known for their wide-ranging sound that includes impactful electro, breaks, house, techno and they have a tidy selection of their family members to deliver this banging soundtrack. An all-female cast is top of the menu on Friday, January 13th and fresh from her recent appearance at Berghain’s annual Silverster Klubnacht is techno dame Adiel. She will also be assisted by regulars Lumiere and Anah who have all the tools to rock any dancefloor any number of ways.
