After Barcelona’s INPUT High Fidelity Club made a no messing about start to the year with their NYD party and Loud-Contact opening their account they return for an even bigger February. Having already welcomed of thousands of eager clubbers to their industrial dance haven they are currently priming an outrageous run of parties that you might just need to look out your passport for.
There is no denying Barcelona’s chops when it comes to electronic music and it is a lot more than just OFF Week. INPUT is arguably one of THE venues to play at while out on tour and for the first JUST WAXX party of the year on Friday, February 3rd there will be a stunning back to back from Apollonia hitman Dyed Soundorom and Limousine Dream head nugateer Gene On Earth. The two have been linking up more and more in recent times and their infectious grooves, digging skills and connection in the booth is beginning to really bear fruit. The two can be regularly found sharing the same booth and you can image the scenes that ensue. The warmup skills will be provided by in house selector Hitch.
Loud-Contact are back at their new haunt of INPUT and it is here where they present their biggest club-based parties and they don’t get much bigger than their next party. With a wide remit of sounds at their disposal, Loud-Contact cover a lot of bases but the prospect of an all-night session with RPR man Rhadoo on Friday, February 17th is too tantalising. Having not featured for LC since he joined his RPR brothers for the huge co-promotion with Zamna Barcelona back in September the re-connection is overdue. Rhadoo will of course be providing his own warmup so make sure you are there from the very beginning to experience the whole journey as Dreamrec will be providing the mind bending visuals to accompany the masterful soundtrack.
Being no stranger to Barcelona, Yoyaku main man Janeret returns to Spain where he begins his Janeret curates. series of parties. Having last performed at the club back in October where he was supported by Hitch, he now presents the first in a series of raves on Friday, February 24th. There is little doubting his undoubted taste in music and it is very clear from his first guest that he is not wasting any time on bringing in the big guns. That guest is none other than Swiss heroine Sonja Moonear and we all know what this star of our community is capable of. Incredibly Sonja has not performed at INPUT since 2016 but she is a regular in the Catalonian hotspot.
