Dimensions Festival has announced the first names joining them for their third edition at the Garden Resort in Tisno, summer 2023 with a list of returning favourites and exciting new additions including Zip, Donato Dozzy, Dr Banana, Josey Rebelle, Peach b2b Sugar Free, Skee Mask, Tim Reaper, Roza Terenzi & D.Tiffany, The Ghost and more, with plenty (we’re told) still to come.
Dimensions marked a strong start to the new chapter at The Garden Resort of Tisno over the last two years, and in 2023 the acclaimed underground festival builds on last year’s 10th anniversary with a host of artists, labels and collectives from across the scene. Taking place between 31st August—4th September 2023, expect a carefully curated list of headliners, back to back exclusives, label parties, UKG celebrations, Detroit specials, debut sets and much more. Croatia’s Garden Resort is nestled in a natural paradise on the Dalmatian coastline with glistening seas, a sweeping beach and pine forests forming the backdrop. During the festival weekend, it comes alive with an array of hugely popular boat parties, baking sunshine and beach-side sessions by day and star-lit skies for open air dancing at the cult Barbarellas Discotheque by night – a famous site with views over the bay which will host a rich array of afterparties, for which line-ups will be revealed soon and passes are already on sale.
Since 2012, Dimensions is famed for its attention to production details like light and sound, as well as its hard-earned musical heritage, seriously music loving crowd and diverse, community minded spirit. All of which will return once again this summer with another musical programme that covers all shades of bass, house, techno, electro, garage, disco and plenty in between.
Amongst many highlights, Detroit legends DJ Stingray 313 and DJ Assault make appearances with demonstrations in fast-paced electronics alongside DJ Bone, Helena Hauff and more. There are plenty of exciting partnerships lined-up this year with revered party crew Trommel and tasteful minimal associates Zip, Fumiya Tanaka, DJ Masda and more. Meanwhile ISAbella’s MARICAS party returns and Electronic maestro Steevio hosts another special Freerotation presentation. D. Tiffany and Roza Terenzi go back to back alongside a Planet Euphorique partnership hot off the back of their takeover at Barbarellas in 2022. Dutch crew Slapfunk are back for a special takeover, while Dr Banana is signed up for Dimensions takeover #3 for a celebration of UKG and beyond alongside DJ Perception and Lady Passion.
Long-standing party-starters Butter Side Up are back alongside pals The Ghost, Gene On Earth, Sugar Free, Sweely and more. Festival favourites Francesco Del Garda, Masda, Evan Baggs, Christian AB and Quest are all back in 2023. LTJ Bukem, Tim Reaper, Tasha, Irationm Steppas and Josey Rebelle are on duty for those with a taste for the higher BPMs and sub-heavy sounds, while Skee Mask, Om Unit, GiGi FM, OK Williams and more promise to delve deep into energetic electronic selections.
The countdown is on to what promises to be another magical edition of this most cultured underground music celebration.
