Parisian party starters Chevry Agency are back at one of their usual haunts in the French capital this Saturday. The revered booking agency have found a holiday home from home at Kilometer 25. A club that was born only in recent years, but feels like it’s been at the heart of the underground for much longer. For promoters with as much prowess as Chevry, it’s no surprise they warmed to the dark, spacious insides of the warehouse. And as another summer comes to a close, they remain poised at the ready for their season finale at the establishment.
Chevry have a knack for taking a space and making it their own. Frequency in their events is at an all time high, thanks to a bunch of the best clubs ready to reserve their dancefloors for the occasion. Jumping between Rex Club, YoYo, Cabaret Sauvage, Badaboum and the rest, you’ll be hard pressed to find a spot that Chevry haven’t conquered. Such testament doesn’t go unnoticed and recent weeks have even seen the crew cross borders – for their first outing in Barcelona.
Yet, it’s Paris that remains at the centre and the music continues to be very much focused on their home sound. You’ll often find the finest names of the Parisian underground and this weekend is no different. Represented by the agency, Distrikt Paris label head Bassam comes armed with his own, alongside Era Ora’s P.O. on the live delivery. John Dimas will be joining, a name synonymous with the French scene for his outstanding contributions – courtesy of the well respected label Elephant Moon. Finally you’ll find Flo Masse, on hand with a big bunch of vinyl inspired by her French Brazilian routes.
It really is a tasty bunch of acts, a well worthy trip to KM25 before it shuts up shop for the season at the end of the month.
