This Friday, February 21st ABB X REC. takes over Amber’s for a night of cutting-edge underground sounds. Known for curating forward-thinking lineups in intimate, high-energy spaces, ABB & REC. unite once again, blending international and local talent across two rooms.
Amber’s has quickly become a go-to destination for immersive clubbing in Manchester. The venue’s state-of-the-art L-Acoustics sound system ensures every bassline and hi-hat is felt as much as heard, creating a sonic experience that’s second to none. Its stripped-back, industrial aesthetic provides the perfect setting for music lovers who value sound and atmosphere over distractions. A strict no-phone policy keeps the focus on the music, the moment, and the collective energy of the dancefloor—an ethos that aligns perfectly with ABB X REC.
Headlining is Dyed Soundorom, an artist renowned for his groove-driven, hypnotic sets. As a co-founder of the legendary Apollonia collective, Dyed has refined a house groove and minimal style that’s both effortlessly cool and technically precise. His sets seamlessly blend rhythm and space, creating journeys that lock dancers into a groove. Whether at DC-10, Panorama Bar, or intimate underground venues, Dyed’s ability to read and move a crowd is unmatched. Joining him is Annie Errez, a long-time UK underground staple known for her vinyl-heavy sets, honed at Leeds’ iconic Mint Club. creators Aviax and Sam Pratt bring their distinct, high-energy styles, while dancers Fire at the Disco add an extra layer of excitement.
As well as the action in the main room there will be a second room that will be curated by Apple Tree X Hereafter. expect deep, hypnotic energy from Athers, Dillon, Duck-E, Ozone, Jimmy & Pük. With limited capacity and a no-frills, all-music approach, ABB X REC. at Amber’s is set to be a standout event. This music-centric focus also extends to the use of phones on the dancefloor, so make sure you come to dance as this is one for the heads.
