London-based INLV has gone from strength to strength in both its creative branches as it develops simultaneously as a label and party series, with A&R headed up by DJ/producer Rennie Peters, she’s made it more than clear that her commitment to the craft extends far beyond spinning tunes and spending time in the studio.
Hitting back with their 31st digital edition, In Love Records, shares 3 high-energy peak time wobblers from the capable hands of Australian artist Stacie Fields, with a string of solid releases under her belt and DJ appearances at the likes of the infamous S.A.S.H., Stacie has made a name for herself providing sounds that bring irresistible energy, hard hitting grooves and contagious vocal chops.
On Stacie’s premiere track “Artie’s Alchemy”, futuristic synth basslines take the lead over a robust and infectious body of drums as plucks and pads set the tone in terms of melody and harmony. Beats shuffle and skip throughout the track as they usher in a host of vocal shots and that unforgettable lead synth line, peak time party power at its purest.
Following the force of the titular work, track 2 “Meltdown” pays homage to acid house whilst delivering contemporary sounds, a super hooky main groove and drums to match, swinging just right. Track 3 “Kill the groove” rounds things off with some emotional harmonies, brain-tingling vocals and a wealth of tasty synthesis, stabs and plucky bassline workouts. Definite dancefloor material that will be sure to hit time and time again.
