After the success of the initial deep space transmission, the cosmic traveler Dustin Bones returns to Wash Records with more gems to introduce to the world. Continuing the elusivity of their social media output, Wash Records let the music speak for itself on this new four tracker from Dustin Bones.
With only one track making it back to Earth ahead of its full release on June 12th, it just happens to be our premiere track “Closed Loop”. With the label having deep rooted links to the Leeds tech-house scene, our focus track today does not disappoint on that front.
With a big nod to the West Coast sound that was so warmly received on the shores of the River Aire, Dustin Bones makes great use of the snappy, verby snare that epitomises that sound but adds in some super low bass tones and warping synths that bring the sound right up to date. Smartly executed vocal snips and lush soundscapes are peppered with tumbled synths that add just the right amount of confusion that works so well on a sweaty dance floor.
