Starting life as a wicked party series, the Australia based Energy In Motion now take the next step in their progression with the launch of their digital label. Taking the reigns for episode one is label boss COZi with a four track clutch of original works.
Taking it from the top, we have titular track “The Fifth Dimension” which gives a clear statement of intent for both the EP and the brand as a whole. Smooth colouring to the upbeat trancy vibe is further enhanced by stripped back beats, swirling synths and interjecting vocal clips. Flipping the script, COZi dials up the euphoria on his Rising Mix that comes complete with an emotive breaky section that cleans the palette for second half of the release.
Edging further into peak time territory and “It’s Attitude” walks a mean line with the aide of a snarling acid line that keeps it tight and focused on the dancefloor. It is easy to see how this would go down at one of the Energy In Motion parties as the deep probing bassline and ethereal vocals are capable of turning any crowd inside out. Completing the action is “Sweet and Tech” and the high octane acidic theme is completed nicely with another 90s flecked tribal workout.
