The third release from WEorUS records sees the Italian/Canadian producer Maurice Giovannini delivers a stellar vinyl release, featuring 3 original tracks and a remix from Dana Ruh. This is the first material put out by WEorUS since a couple of years and they are definitely back with a bang.
The A side consists of the atmospheric title track ‘Orange’ which provides the perfect introduction to the EP. The track features an eccentric breakdown in the middle which would blend perfectly with a sunrise or sunset. Dana Ruh’s interpretation of ‘Orange’ on A2 is a more upbeat version that would work a treat on the dance floor, incorporating more prevalent hi-hats with the atmospheric vibe of Giovannini’s version.
The B side starts off in style with a deeper track titled ‘Plasma’. The stripped back, minimalistic style of this track really allows yourself to feel as if you’re floating away into the music. ‘Bunka’ is the final track and is another that would also work well on the dance floor, with a lot of drums throughout the track giving it lots of energy.
Maurice again hits with a perfect vinyl already supported by Ricardo Villalobos, Rhadoo and many others.
The EP is scheduled for release at the end of June!
