Premiere: B2 – Lisovskyi – Dyr Dyr [LIS003]

Lisovskyi is back in our premieres section with his new one on his own Lisosmuha label, and I swear, it’s the funniest track we’ve had so far.

“Dyr Dyr” opens with the label’s signature and Lisovskyi’s harsh, broken-beat sound. Nothing extra, we’ve been there. But then, when the “vocals” start… You should probably know the “Police Academy” franchise; it was big on Ukrainian television in the 90s and 00s. So that dubbing, you can hear here, it’s the Ukrainian voicing over Bobcat Goldthwait’s original one. Instant smile on your face.

Another one on the record, who can surprise us easily, it’s Vitya Payal’nik. His “Zikr Atagi” here is much faster than usual for him. But the overall grit from his favorite era (00s) is here, as usual. Xorsia with “Cash For Sex” starts the EP with the track that would easily fit any Alex Savage’s sets (speaking in Kyivian here). And the last one mentioned here will be “Stt” from Odesa-own Victor.B. The calmest piece of broken pleasures on the record.

This one sounds like the best one from Lisosmuha (they finally stopped changing the names!). Already available on Deejay, KMA60, or any other good record stores, check your favorite one.
