Today, we’re welcoming another group from Paris, called Free Mousse. They are the group, the festival, and now also the label, Free Mousse Records. Starting their history with the names of Kiss The Future and Blinkduus Dischetto.
“Dedans Le Stud” is a synthy banger from the second-mentioned name. Melancholic, dreamy, yet very danceable, pacey, and very Parisian. Not-that-easy choice, but the favorite one here.
Kiss The Future is opening the EP with “My Babe Gives Me The Heat” with its crazy, almost disharmonic vocal chords, which will play in your head long after listening. And there are also two mutual works on the release, the first one is “Va Donc !”, hilarious (in a good way), somehow stripped-back and banging at the same time. And the second one is “Rhonexpress”, a much faster piece, again with some catchy vocal cuts and some nice buzz on the bassline.
So, the EP is more than lovely; it carries some unique vibe inside it, I would say. If you like that vibe – hit stores like Juno, Deejay, Decks ASAP.
