A.M. Vibe aka Nail or Neil Tolliday is a well-known “house music don” (the quote from ITD001 press release) from Nottingham, who disappeared for a while after the 90s and then came back to produce one jam after another (you can check his Discogs page if you really need some confirmation here). This one is from his own, recently launched label In The Dance, and we’re waiting for the release date like no other.
“I’m So High” is a bit unusual track, I would say – everything is based on the loop, which is edited almost 100 different times. Filters, edits, all kinds of those are turning this one ingredient into a feast for a hundred people. To be honest, I’m VERY interested in its sounding on some good speakers. It should be the iconic tool, I would say.
“Vibe With Me” starts the record with a calm, warm atmosphere with a touch of jazz. Some Sunday morning vibes we’re having here. “Dried Fruit” totally continues the vibe of A1, being a bit more energetic, I would say. Finally, “Powder” does the same, adding some serious kicks on top of that garage love symphony.
One of the most interesting releases of March is already on pre-orders at Juno, Deejay, or Decks. Hurry up!
