Today we’re having one of the scene’s hot names and his own fresh label. Revivis did a nice job with the debut release on his Santo Tomas last year, and started a series of edits later – now it’s time for the second landing on Santo Tomas. Signature style, quite nice tracks, let’s check them all.
Starting with “All Over” – just like everything on the release – pacey, groovy, and designed for a packed dancefloor. I’m in love with the bassline from the moment it appears here. Everything is transforming into the late 90s/early 00s sunset-on-the-beach euphoria a bit later. But still in a very delicate way. We have too many “full throttle” bangers of this type of tracks to skip this delicate beauty.
“Dance State”, which is following our premiere on the A-side, is looking in the same direction, just adding a bit of acid into its ingredients. And a pinch of some dreamy mood. The B-side is opening with “Queen Of Chaos” and its drive into the 90s piano nostalgia (and also THAT sample, that will put a smile on your face, when you hear it). The last one on the record, “Sophia” is for those bigger rooms compared to the B1 track, but like every track here on the record, it has moderate banging abilities.
The record is going to be up very soon, so if you’re in need of delicate banging stuff like that – Juno, Deejay, Decks, you know.
