London minimal imprint Rawstreet present their 10th release.
The newfound collective have been shaping an aesthetic around swift, nimble territories in the past 12 months. Frequent releases from the likes of The Willers Brothers and Ray Mono form their digital and vinyl catalogue, as well as hosting a regular radio show on Bloop London.
Honne Music boss Dieru joins the family with four crisp original cuts, featuring a tasteful remix from Matheiu featured in this premiere.
The Berlin-based Venezuelan voices his expression for glitch-inspired rhythms in his take of ‘Trephase’. Layers of textures slowly morph into one another, creating a unique blanket of rhythm plucking satisfying qualities from abstract, dissonant sounds.
His recent works landed on Rockets Audio alongside Denis Kaznacheev, a pioneer of this harmonic dissonance, producing pleasant and peculiar atmospheres from otherworldly frequencies.
The fast pace of ‘Trephase’ creates room for a number of ideas, with subtle zips and squelches fizzing over the mix with an intensely hypnotic charm. Slinky hats inject a playful bounce to the track, gladly swinging over the bed of eccentric textures.
Dieru’s original jams meander through a number of varied after-hour friendly grooves. Wrapping intricate textures around agile basslines presented with a rich, warm sound design.
Presale coming soon at various digital outlets.
