Having influenced generations of music enthusiasts, Alexander Robotnick’s name has long been etched into the upper echelons of the music zeitgeist. His work in electro has been a mainstay since the 80s and he continues to unearth and reimagine the genre with each release. Still an ever present force on the world scene, the Italian pioneer can still be found dropping science in magical surroundings such as Panoramabar, as well as regular outings for labels such as Bosconi.

From the outset Robotnick’s set lives and breathes Italo electro and the scene is perfectly set with the opening track taking cues from Herbie Hancock’s seminal anthem “Rockit”. Combining his own on point work with a slew of finely curated selections from around the electronic music world, Robotnick paints a synth driven picture that ebbs and flows like only a seasoned master can create. The energy and charisma that oozes out of every pore of this recording belies Robotnick’s years in the booth and in the studio, but this is true testament to his lifelong love affair with music.
