One look at Luca Cara aka Spacetravel’s Discogs page will tell you what caliber of artist you are dealing with. Albums on Perlonand Melliflow, as well as cult EP’s for the likes of Time Passages, Cabaret Recordings, Hearing Colours, the previously mentioned behemoth imprints as well as his own sporadic label Traveling Without Moving. Melding otherworldly soundscapes with outrageous basslines and coupled with room shaking grooves is the sweet spot that Spacetravel commands.
On our next podcast edition Spacetravel provides this and then some. Recorded live at none other than Club Der Visionaere and as many know this is where magical things happen. Here lush pads give way to vocal 90’s house bombs, which in turn segue nicely into acid soaked grooves. The vibe is simply infectious and only goes to prove that Spacetravel is not an artist that is easily pigeonholed.
