Romanians Aparte and Derek have been collectively and singularly entrenched in a similar realm of sound for some time and now they have converged on the same path as Slicks. Having already released on likes of Atipic, Parang Records, Hourglass Rec, and of course Derek on his own VHS Rec imprint.
The two now present a free track for you to get to know their style better and ‘Axia’ offers a sublime meander through deeper shades of minimal. Deep bass tones, snappy percussion, elongated pads, and a soothing female vocal combine to deliver a cohesive ensemble of sounds worthy of inclusion in any deep and groove led set.
