Today we welcome to our Free Download series co-founder of Bangkok’s More Rice imprint and record store – Sarayu. Alongside a clutch of Bangkok based artists, Jay has become a go to artist for South East Asia’s blossoming club and festival scene. A mainstay at Fly To The Moon and Wonderfruit there is seldom a week that goes by that Sarayu is on the move either in Bangkok or further afield. His dancefloor focused productions for the likes of Ozelot, Boiled Wonderland Records, Jugaar Records, and his on point More Rice Records imprint have elevated his profile to soaring heights.
For followers of Sarayu’s excellent work in the studio and behind the decks, you will be well aware of his skill at blending robust beats, ethereal atmospherics, and mysterious melodies. For those that are not familiar you will find a myriad of dancefloor killers that are ready to shake most rooms. His addition to our Free Download series he primes “Device 1000”, a heater of the highest order that leans heavily on tight percussion but with the added energy of a dastardly bassline and a sultry vocal snip.
