From his instantly supported solo productions and remixes to his lauded live sets, Floog has, for a long time been a core member of the minimal scene. Always looking for new and exciting sounds to explore Floog has now ventured into more electro / new wave territory with his Floog X alias. “Apres Tur” may not be in Floog’s usual slick minimal style, but this new direction will please fans of the Romanian and also to him back in action. Vintage synths are the order of the day where the circling roomy beats and verby percussion are used to underpin the repeating bassline. Forlorn synths inject the right amount of tear-jerking emotion that is so pinnacle to the more electro-leaning side of electro music. Dont let the mention of emotion-driven synths detract from the fact that our next free track is primed and ready to take apart the dance floor.
