Waha Festival, the longstanding Romanian festival born in 2012 and arrived at its 7th edition, has released the first names for the 2018, and will take place on the Transilvanian mountains behind Brașov from 12th to 16th of July 2018.
The full lineup is expected to be, like previous years, with a strong Romanian orientation plus guests whose style is consistent with the Romanian sound much appreciated by the crowd that usually approach these events.
Artists confirmed so far are from the following list, however we expect around 200 for a festival that will run for 5 days across 5 different stages.
Rhadoo / Priku / Dubtil / Dunkle Dummies (Andrea Ferlin & Francesco Assenza) / Tulbure / Alexandra / Raha / Raphael Merheb b2b Nathan Oye
Psykovsky / Cosmosis [Live Guitar] / Son Kite by Marcus Henriksson / Tengri / Noise Gust/ Atma / Ankur Seres / A.U.M / E-Mantra / Ascent / Master Margherita / Journey Into Sound / Latam / Minilogue by Marcus Henriksson / Khidja / Cosima von Bülowe
E/Tape / Nathalia / Gwenan / Baby Vulture
Among the key and distinctive factors of the festival, in our opinion, are their stages fully immersed in the nature, which, blended with music, creates a mystical journey. Also, the festivalgoers will have the chance to see visual installations and land art, and the opportunity to camp, creating an enriching and inspiring 5days escape from reality.
