Vinyl Speed Adjust will play extended set alongside Suolo, Midds and Kearun at The Cause for Bound on 13 July

BOUND London have invited Romanian duo Vinyl Speed Adjust to perform at The Cause, a brand new independent event space in North London, which encourages dance culture and positive mental health, especially among musicians. The sole aim of this event is to support the underground scene, with 50% of the proceedings going towards crowdfunding the venue itself, The Cause, and the other 50% going to two charities which support those struggling with mental health issues (Mind in Haringey & CALM).

Since the beginning of this year, the London-based collective has successfully thrown several events under the BOUND signature with guests like Fabe, Kolo & Dyze and Triptil, including one record store event and, more recently, a joint venture with The Sunday Afters for the Visionquest after party, which took place in a warehouse secret location in East London.

The next event can be considered among the biggest to date for the growing crew, locking in Vinyl Speed Adjust for an extended set that will perfectly resonate in the industrial setting of The Cause, confirming their attention in providing quality music with an eye on innovation. Also on the bill is Suolo, with a recent release on RORA, together with residents, Kearun and Midds. Kearun’s tracks were showcased at Sunwaves this year, meanwhile Midds’ profile is going from strength to strength in the London Underground scene.

Up until now, BOUND’s home was in East London, in particular Basing House in Shoreditch, where all their events were hosted, with the exception of one which was held at Bar A Bar in Stoke Newington. Like most of the promoters and organisations, they are now experimenting with new venues and sound systems; a standard process for an up-and-coming collective in search for the necessary experience to reach a maturity phase after a steady growth, therefore we see this move North as a sign of ambition.

We are expecting interesting things from BOUND’s future, starting from the next event that will take place on 13 July 2018.
