A very nice concept is taking shape in the south of England and it goes by the name of Sarum Point. Named in reference to ancient rings, the ethos behind this new two-day gathering is rooted in simple geometry that still works. A devotion to basic principles, where every element revolves around a carefully considered centre.
At the heart of the project is the community that surrounds it. With this in mind, attendee experience dictates every detail. A community with a deep passion for electronic music and the culture that exists around it. That means artists are given the time and space to really dig deep, leading journeys that are often impossible with oftentimes packed festival lineups.
The exact location will be shared directly with ticket holders, though the gathering takes place near Salisbury, roughly 80 minutes from London. The festival has been designed with intention throughout, from finely tuned sound systems and second-hand staging to open countryside views and a thoughtfully arranged layout. While specifics remain limited, all signs point towards something particularly special unfolding.
Sarum Point is the brainchild of a number of projects and collectives from across the UK, and as such, the lineup reflects a genuine coming together of communities. Diggers, residents, selectors, friends and extended musical family all contribute to the shape of the weekend. Featuring a wide cast of emerging names and underground collectives, it promises a musical journey built on trust and exploration rather than quick-fire set changes.

The festival’s collaborative spirit extends beyond the artists themselves, with collectives including Decisive Sounds, The Sonic Exchange, Redhead Records and Zen Arcade all helping shape the identity of the event.
Camping will be available across both nights, with the site fully catered to encourage people to properly settle into the environment. There’s even a sauna on-site for sweating out some of the weekend’s excesses before diving back in once again.
For a first edition, Sarum Point already feels less like a new festival and more like a gathering that’s been slowly forming for years. One built carefully around sound, people and atmosphere, where the details matter just as much as the lineup itself.
Tickets are available on TROI, but you’ll need the password first…join the group via the Sarum Point website to get involved. Don’t wait, as the festival is almost upon us, taking place 29 – 31 May.
