The celebrated producer has performed at France’s Rex Club many times over the years but he has just released details of his tantalising Traumer invites… series and the first party on Saturday, April 6th at the Paris nightspot is going to be quite a night.
For the first party of 2019, Traumer has enlisted one of the biggest draws in the Romanian minimal sphere at the moment – Cristi Cons. The Amorf member has been quite instrumental in the revolution of minimal music, especially the Romanian strain of the genre. Alongside a number of the new breed of Romanian artists, Cristi has injected a huge amount of melody back into proceedings and his work with Vlad Caia as part of SIT and output on their Amphia label being perfect examples of this new direction in minimal music.
Also, playing a starring role in Traumer’s first party is French artist Lamache. The Berlin-based label head of Discobar has also been pivotal in the current wave of minimal artists that are on constant rotation at the world’s biggest clubs and is an extremely active member of the yoyaku family.
Expect nothing but the finest music when these 3 artists get behind the decks, we have a feeling this series of parties at Rex Club will mean regular roadblocks on Boulevard Poissonnière.
