the Volks confirm collaboration with Signal for 2019 edition

A finely curated festival of dystopian proportions does not even tell part of the story behind Signal, a large-scale music festival crossed with an art gallery also doesn’t do this event justice either. Now in its third installment, Signal takes place between Thursday, August 15th and Sunday, August 18th at the expansive art park and unique event space of Nikola-Lenivets. Situated in a small village in the Kaluga region, this truly magical, purpose-built haven for art features works and installations that have been crafted with the beautiful natural surroundings in mind.

Add in even more works from the festival itself, the apocalyptic post industrious backdrop plus the dizzying amount of world-class musicians and you have something truly special. With this edition utilising and drawing inspiration from the concept ‘Terrain of Freedom’ the possibilities are endless. Little is known about the line-up at this point bar one all-important hookup and that is with Russian minimal stalwarts – the Volks.

On Saturday, August 17th the legendary collective will be putting together a party all of their own making under the Signal banner and they will be bringing on board a suitably tantalising line-up of artists. Packing their finest weapons will be Francesco Del Garda, Omar, Petre Inspirescu, Vera, D.A.L.I., Denis Korablev, Electric Blue, Gevorg Simoyan, STAB9, Vlada and Zots will complete this stunning party. If ever there is just one reason to go check out this leftfield celebration of art, design and electronic this is it.
