The Bulgarian crew The Sunday Bunch, helmed by founding artist Georgi, made their name in the fertile Eastern European community due to their extremely well-received events. Having since relocated to London’s underground back in 2019, they now celebrate ten years in the game with a takeover of one of the city’s finest after-hours spots, Starlane Pizza Bar on Sunday, May 11th.
Having such a rich history in the now blooming Bulgarian scene, over the years they have welcomed a heady mix of stars that count Sonja Moonear, Gene On Earth, Vera, OMAR, Z@p, and Christian AB as guests to have joined The Sunday Bunch family. As well as the wide-ranging array of sounds that they present at each event, they also rock up to a constantly changing selection of venues. This approach to their parties speaks volumes about the dexterity and diversity that they look to incorporate into everything that they do. This includes their long-standing podcast series that has welcomed an ever-growing list of top-flight artists over the years.
For their long-awaited milestone party, their takeover of Starlane Pizza Bar on Sunday, May 5th will also feature a slightly different musical tact. Aided by regular faces Deyan Dimitrov plus Ciccio, who will play b2b with Ca:char, there will be a suitably high-octane pairing of guests on offer this special Sunday. Top of the bill is rising star Sohrab, and with his Blind Tone imprint about to drop its debut release, there will be all sorts of vinyl gold being packed for this special occasion. Also on the bill is another artist on the rise, and DMC is also well-versed in blowing up a party as he already has a slew of bookings coming up that include the brand new festival Little Fields, Amalfi Music (also at Starlane), and Dusty Flyers Club.
