OTTO gears up for the next chapter and marks them as one to watch

Some projects start with a plan. OTTO started with a twenty-year friendship — and it shows no signs of slowing down.

Behind OTTO are two best friends who grew up together in the West Midlands before both landing in London around the same time, music trailing them the whole way. Since then, the pair have thrown themselves into the city’s underground scene: digging for records, meeting people, chasing new sounds, and looking for any excuse to play what they’ve found. OTTO grew out of that instinct — a way to turn years of shared obsession into something they could call their own.

The name is a small piece of the story in itself. OTTO — Ollie, Tommy, Tommy, Ollie — is a nod to the friendship at the project’s core, but it’s also meant as something bigger: a way of giving back to a scene that’s shaped both of them. There’s no commercial angle driving this. It’s built on love for the music, the culture surrounding it, and the people who keep it moving — and on the belief that a party should be s

Having launched at Vittoria Wharf Studio, OTTO has always had extended, close-knit sessions at the core of their events. This first edition featured a stacked lineup that featured standout sets from Darush, co-founders Tommy and Lesenburg, Guillaume Cartier, Dylan Pasqua, ki:ke, GRETA, and in-demand star KT. Moving on to their second edition, the party rolled into The Glove That Fits. In a similar fashion to the launch party, all artists were on fire from the opening beat to the last drop, with Robin Graham, Jhumka, and co-heads Lesenburg and Tommy steering the ship throughout.

Looking forward to their next edition, the stage is set for their biggest party to date. Taking place at East London underground hub Starlane Pizza Bar on Saturday, 5th September, OTTO captains Tommy and Lesenburg have another wicked party in store. Leading the charge will be the unmissable duo of Dungeon Meat collaborators Horsemen, and those who have borne witness to their sets at OXI in Berlin will know what magic is in store.

Support in the night will come from Netil Radio resident IZZY, Round About Records founder Dan Anderson, and the Into The Woods duo of Krif and Nick James. With all artists being influential in the London scene, the latter have played a huge part in East London’s notoriety as one of the hottest underground locales.
