Mioritmic unveils massive stage split

Now in its 6th year, the 4 day Transylvanian festival Mioritmic, from the minds of Sunrise Events and Club Midi, has now revealed its stage break down and you will definitely need some stamina for this one. Taking place between October 4th-7th in the forest of Cluj-Napoca, this immersive musical experience is set across 3 carefully curated stages – Cobza, Nai and Lira.

First up is Cobza, which will feature a decidedly different approach to their Thursday night program with a live performance from Silent Strike and a drum and bass set from Nastia as well as sets from Snow, Krueger, Black Sun Empire, Agent and Zo. Friday evening the tempo and vibe will shift again with sets from Rolls ‘n’ Do aka tINI & Bill Patrick, Cosmjn, Vlada and a live set from Ion Ludwig. The final night at the Cobza stage promises special performances from Zefzeed, Digby and a live set from the Canadian technician Mathew Jonson. Then come sunrise, sets from G76 and Ciubuc will round out the festival on the Cobza stage.

Unlike the other stages, the Nai stage will kick off on Friday night with sets from Pablo Luque, Fer Br, Paco Osuna and RQZ. Then, during Saturday night’s session, which could perhaps offer up some of the top moments of the weekend in the shape of K!D Chriss, Portable (live), Fumiya Tanaka, A Guy Called Gerald, Margaret Dygas, Akufen, Tobias (live), Bruno Pronsato (live) and then the morning will culminate with a highly-anticipated set from Get Perlonized curator Sammy Dee.

Lastly, but certainly by no means least is the heavyweight Lira stage. Beginning on Thursday night with extended sets from Tulbure, Suciu and [a:rpia:r] man Petre Inspirescu, before heading into the mammoth Friday night session with 3 extended sets from some of the most in-form Romanians on the circuit – Rhadoo, Dan Andrei, Praslesh aka Praslea and Raresh. The Saturday night / Sunday morning party has also got timeless stamped all over it and features sets from some of the highly impressive second wave of Romanian artists such as Paul K, Arapu, Gescu, Mihigh, Charlie, Cap, Dubtil, Priku and Cezar. In true Romanian fashion, Mioritmic begins early and finishes late so remember, this festival is a marathon, not a sprint.
