Japan Gets Perlonized for the first time

It has long been understood that Japan has a special place in its heart for music with many EP’s and albums receiving special editions in the Land of the Rising Sun. There has also been a thriving music scene in Japan too for some time and clubs like Air (RIP), Womb and Contact attract top taste-making artists on a regular basis. Having said all this, one of the most instantly recognizable labels and parties in the minimal world is yet to touch down in Japan, until now.

With Japanese artist Fumiya Tanaka being one of Perlon’s most in demand and inform artists at the moment (and for a long time) it was only a matter of time before Japan got Perlonized. For the first of 2 dates, Tanaka will bring the Perlon party brand first to Osaka’s Circus Club on Friday, November 23rd and there he will be joined by label mates and fellow Perlon luminaries Sammy Dee, who curates the Perlon parties and co-founder Zip.

The following night (Saturday, November 23rd) will see an even bigger Perlon line-up with the aforementioned artists and also Spacetravel joining in on the action. This party in Tokyo will be the culmination of a 5-date tour of Asia for Spacetravel, which will see the Perlon artist take in dates in China, South Korea before finally helping to deliver a small slice of Frankfurt to Japan.
