Over the past 5 years for Into The Woods have thrown some amazing events in London, Barcelona, Berlin, Paris and Prague and at a range of obscure party spaces and clubs such as FOLD, fabric, E1, Rex Club Paris, Red58 and Club Der Visonaere it is now time to celebrate on home soil with a suitably outstanding array of artists. The first of these parties will be taking place on Saturday, August 3rd at East London venue Mick’s Garage and it is set to be a stomping affair.
To take full advantage of the excellent weather currently bathing London in sunlight Into The Woods will be taking to the outdoor stage of Mick’s Garage for the first part of their weekend journey. Heading up this impressive birthday blow out is French trio Mandar, made up Malin Genie, Lazare Hoche and S.A.M. this collective of artists are making a serious name for themselves in underground circles and with a growing collection of self-ran labels, a much sought after remixing portfolio and stand out DJ performances these guys are the complete package. Following closely behind is the BE9 duo of Sedee, from their base at Parker Lewis in Mannheim they have crafted a close-knit following based on nothing but hard work and talent. The way it should be.
As well as the talented supporting cast of Marlie, Ricardo De Meneses, Midds, Kolo & Dyze, Tarek Charbonnier, and Sofiane there will also be a secret guest that will be announced on the day of the event. So you will need to keep your eyes peeled for that important nugget of information. Completing the journey will see the team reprising their collaboration with The Sunday Afters and true to form this will see rather special scenes unfold at their joint secret after-party. The line-up for this defining part of the celebration is a closely guarded secret so you will just need to keep your ear to the ground for further details.
If you can’t make it to London then fret not, Into The Woods will also be organising a super special event in Berlin on Sunday, August 25th at a secret location with an exclusive after-party to boot. Taking care of the open-air day time vibes will be Alexandra, Christian AB, Oshana, The Ghost and Zendid and then later that night the warehouse after-party will be taken care of by a crack team of residents and close friends.
