After the huge success of this year’s Houghton Festival curated by Craig Richards, dates have been announced for the 2019 edition. Taking place between Thursday, August 8th to Sunday, August 11th, this much-lauded gathering at Houghton House fuses art, nature and a great many underground music disciplines together to form a truly unique festival. There is also the fact that Craig Richards presides over every aspect of the weekend, so you can be sure it is typically mind-blowing.
With Craig Richards being the minimal aficionado that he is, last years wooded event saw sets from the likes of Adam Shelton, Barac, Margaret Dygas, Roman Flügel, Binh, Zip, Voigtmann and Craig Richards old pal Ricardo Villalobos who played multiple sets across the weekend. There is little doubt that next year’s event will be similarly solid when it comes to minimal house and techno, perhaps more so as minimal artists begin to shine brighter than ever before.
Tickets will be going on sale at 9am sharp on Tuesday, February 5th, so make sure you have the morning off to ensure you are first in line. To stay updated on all festival updates and announcements you can sign up to their mailing list on their website.
