It simply wouldn’t be British festival season without the much-adored Gottwood Festival featuring in our summertime plans. After celebrating 10 years last year, the scenic Holyhead Festival is back with the first wave of artists announced.

Considering it’s only the first round of names, 2020 is shaping up to be as fantastic as per usual. The idyllic Carreglwyd Estate will play host to fan favourites such as The Ghost, Binh, Nicolas Lutz, Craig Richards, Helena Hauff, Voigtmas (John Dimas + Voigtmann) as well as a rare UK festival appearance of a Lena Wilikens and Vladimir Ivkovic back-to-back.

Also featuring on the line-up will be Half Baked resident Sam Bangura, FUSE maestro Archie Hamilton, Desert Sound Colony, Oskar Offerman, Tristan Da Cunha, as well as UKG aficionado Alec Falconer, who recently featured on our 12 artists to see in 2020 list.

A selection of the stage hosts for the festival includes the trusty regulars of Butter Side Up, Half Baked, One Records and newcomers Animal Crossing. Considering the associated artists with these promoters, there’s plenty more to be excited about in the coming months.
