Evasion Festival returns for its seventh edition at Lyon’s Grand Parc Miribel-Jonage

Launching back in 2016, Evasion Festival set out in search of the perfect site to host several event crews and their joint vision. The result was Atol Beach: 3.5 hectares of lush green lawns, 120 meters of soft white sand, and crystal-clear waters. All of this was just 20 minutes from Lyon, at the heart of Grand Parc Miribel-Jonage. With hurdles placed in their way, it was 2023 that saw a rebirth of their vision, and this now paves the way for their seventh edition that will take place on June 28th & 29th.

What allows Evasion Festival to stand out from other operations and events is its 100% daytime programming. Why would they not? The stunning natural beauty of the site is one that simply cannot be overlooked and demands to be introduced as one of the key points of the festival. Featuring three uniquely programmed stages, there will be something for everybody and all music lovers.

Throughout the two-day festival, each stage has been handcrafted with the help of the associated crews that feed in their expert ears and ideas. The Aura stage will feature a predominantly regional artist lineup, each presenting a more house music-focused sound. Each day’s program progressively steps up the pressure as the day goes on, with the peak of the day culminating in a grand moment befitting of such a beautiful location. Music will come via Nofraje, the duo Mark Gil & Siofra, Arlanoa, Maï-Linh, Desire & Cait, Mastaï, Livwutang, KAMMA, X-Coast, and DJ Fuckoff.

On the Litus stage, there is something completely different on offer. This stage will be home to the harder and faster genre of music that makes up the Evasion mix. Hard House, Hard Trance, and Techno all rub shoulders here, but with that unmistakable uplifting vibe that makes this festival so unmissable. You will find artists such as CARV and Holy Priest, alongside fresh faces: Aisha, Anxhela, El Mefti, Diøn, Nyctonian, KITTS, Kirara, NKT, and Soraä.

Finally, there is the Unda stage. Staying closer to their minimal and tech house roots, you will find artists such as Lumbago, Carl H, MarsO10C, Oror, Sweely, Cesar & Jason, Robin Petit Jean, Sugar Free, and Man. This will be a true meeting of heads as the unstoppable grooves will power this stage from start to finish.

Another more unsung star of Evasion Festival is its approach to sustainability, with a reduced capacity, the footfall each day will have a lesser impact on the environment. As well as this, there will be free access to water across the site, which will enable festival goers to safely enjoy the action.
