Bulgarian born Eastern Bloc bring the minimal landscape to Orlando.
After being struck by the lack of underground music in the city upon arrival from Eastern Europe, the crew behind Eastern Bloc began bringing talent to the city.
Debuting with Romania’s Arapu, the collective propelled onto the Florida circuit. Continuing with both Oshana and Christopher Ledger, the party presents their fourth instalment, with London’s East End Dubs and Vatos Locos regular, Chad Andrew.
On top of maintaining a heavy, global touring schedule, East End Dubs has just released the 24th instalment of the prolific Eastenderz imprint. Since its inception in 2014, the label has welcomed some of minimal’s finest producers in the likes of Priku, Cosmjn, Doubtingthomas and more.
Chad Andrew has been on the circuit for over a decade, gracing a variety of venues across America before relocating to Europe where Andrew has gained priceless experience at audiophile venues Ibiza Underground and Club der Visionaere, leaving the warm-up in more than capable hands.
The collective has hosted parties at various venues across Orlando, searching for the perfect environment to showcase the intricate house music pronounced by this calibre of bookings.
Visual installation mapping will feature in the venue, provided by creative collective ‘WEARE’, the team behind the Eastern Bloc’s artwork.
A strong passion for music is evident in the brand. Honing on the moving experience dance music can create when heard through great sound systems, Eastern Bloc aims to provide an outlet for the unique, hypnotic atmosphere created by minimalist dance music.
