Cartulis celebrate their ninth birthday at FOLD with a solid line-up

Not many promoters make it to nine birthdays but the Cartulis crew have always kept a laser focus on the basics: music, venue and crowd.

Their 9th birthday formula stays true to these values with the event taking place at FOLD, the newest and coolest 24h venue in East London.

Kino from Phonoteque’s school will figure as well in one of his rare European apparences. The enigmatic Onur Ozer spearheading the line-up is more than a cherry on top and promises to deliver a memorable night to say the least.

With FOLD for a celebration venue, there’s no saying whether the 10am closing time is final and a proper after party is being prepared.

With the majority of label associates now regularly appearing at their events, both the events and the label have become entwined in a self supporting cycle.

In fact, Reade Truth’s latest track released on the Cartulis label, Where Has Love Gone, was recently picked by Craig Richards as part of his Fabric100 list. A stamp of approval if there ever was one.
