Often the finest parties are born between minds met through a shared appreciated of music. A story of celebrating sound that they will one day present. It could follow years of sharing dance floors, track IDs and lightning-fast conversation, sprawled on sofas at the afters. Parisian collective Avalanche Soundsystem emerged in a similar state of fluidity. Merging experience of music revelry and deciding to make it their own.
The squad is made up of five University friends, a group of passionate crate diggers, DJs and producers. Purveyors of the Paris scene, they dedicated their weekends to different clubs of the city, by day and by night. What emerged was an ethos. Heading up their own series, everything was to be best in class. From the artists to the venues, the sound system, and the parties themselves.
Fast forward five years and despite the industry wide damage from the pandemic, Avalanche Soundsystem have come out on top. Since their sold-out open air last year, they’ve hosted Guillermo Jamas, Yamen & EDA, Harry Wills – and most recently, fast rising Leeds artist Kepler.

The next event on the books might be their biggest yet. Taking over Le Trabendo on 23rd July, multiple France debuts meet more rising stars from the UK. Nathan Pinder finally makes it for his first in the country, a name the promoters have been wanting for a while.
He joins French artist Bassam from Chevry Agency and LVCA aka Luca Cazal. You’ll most likely have seen several LVCA productions premiered on our pages, yet this marks the first time Cazal will be playing under the alias. Round this off with the recent announcement of Manchester’s man of the moment Josh Baker and you’ve got yourself a tasty lineup.
Those who have attended Le Trabendo before will know the fine space for hedonism which it offers. The intimate concert venue is centered in the surroundings of La Villette park, boasting an impressive outdoor terrace alongside the main room. With the space, the soundtrack and the sound system sorted, it’s the latest depiction of the ‘best in class’ determination.
You also have your chance to win a pair of tickets (two pairs) this event too by heading over to their Facebook page Facebook event (by liking, sharing, commenting the post and click on participate on the event).
