ACiD presents The Beach Festival, Japan’s newest musical oasis

On Saturday, May 31, Japan’s electronic music landscape will redefine its boundaries as A Concept in Dance aka ACiD presents the first edition of The Beach Festival that will mark its debut at Chiba Prefectural Makuhari Seaside Park. Nestled along Tokyo Bay and just 40 minutes by train from the city center, this beachfront festival promises an electrifying fusion of world-class dance music and untamed coastal beauty.

The festival’s beachside stage will immerse attendees in a sensory feast, where thundering kicks and shimmering synths collide with salt-tinged ocean breezes. A deluxe lounge area offers respite for those craving comfort without abandoning the vibe, while the main dancefloor invites barefoot revelry on the sand. As day fades to night, the sky erupts in a 1000-firework show, synced to the music for an unforgettable open-air climax.

Headlining the inaugural edition are The Chemical Brothers, who will deliver a 2.5-hour DJ set. Joining them is a lineup bridging generations and borders: Japanese pioneers like Takkyu Ishino, genre-blurring producer Qrion; Sara Landry; and viral experimentalist ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U. Akira Arasawa will play B2B alongside Ground, and local stars Risa Taniguchi and Dongrosso will make remarkable appearances as well.
