Five artists to check out at this year ADE

Italian born and now Berlin-based Quest, has carved out a very nice place for himself in the last few years. Being known for a bit of a selector only comes with a wealth of musical knowledge and deft touch in delivering unearthed gems. This ADE he will be in great company when he lines up against Cabaret Records boss DJ Masda and KRN for the Likeminded party on Saturday, October 20th. Definitely, one to watch out for on the world circuit.

Ukrainian artist Kristina has been bubbling under with a slew of great releases on her own vinyl only label Obrani Records and has been responsible for bringing underground artists such as John Dimas, SIT and Oshana to her home of Odessa. She has also found her home away from home with the VBX crew and will join the cast of Praslesh, Fumiya Tanaka, Francesco del Garda and local hero Ferro for one of the standout parties of the week on Saturday, October 20th.

One half of the Real Gang, Miller has had quite the summer season. Being an integral part of intimate party haven Ibiza Underground, he has been instrumental in keeping a small corner of the White Isle as real and as underground as possible. As well as seeing him in action at Underground this summer, you may also have caught Miller’s tight groovy sound at DC-10, The Zoo Project and Sankeys Ibiza, as well as Bret (Amsterdam), 93 Feet East (London) and Mint Warehouse (Leeds). This week he will join his SlapFunk label mates on Thursday, October 18th at Claire.

Russian hotshot producer Alexander Romanov, better known as Lost.Act has been quietly churning out an impressive pinpoint flip on minimal and techno. With releases on vinyl only labels such as Rube Goldberg Series, Kk, Druzhba and his own Drumatiq Music imprint. However, it will be his most recent release on DJ W!ld’s Dailycid Music label that has paved his way to ADE this year. Taking place at Het Sieraad on Wednesday, October 17th alongside Ion Ludwig, Steve O’Sullivan, Steve Rachmad and Traumer.

One half of Amsterdam duo Spokenn, Reiss has been really important to the new wave of Dutch house and techno artists. Being part of the highly influential VBX crew has seen Reiss playing solo at esteemed venues both home and abroad such as Shelter, Supermarket (Switzerland) and Spectakulo Festival (Belguim). As well as performing as Spokenn, Reiss will also be going solo at the long-awaited VBX afterparty at Bret on the morning of Saturday, October 20th alongside Dyed Soundorom, Voigtmann, Max Vaahs and Makcim.
