Premiere: B1 – Namur – Cruisin [BSDS001]

Namur (or Alexis Namur) recently has come up with the idea – what if the record didn’t have the A-side, just the B-side with all its energy. And here we go…

Today we’re having a B1, but it is an opening track of the record, yes. “Cruisin” is a very delicate banger that feels like an anthem of the label. It would be a perfect B-side everywhere, still, it opens this record.

Its neighbor, “Follow Me”, at the beginning feels like it was mixed with the A1, sorry, B1. Kinda a bit more energetic, still totally B-sidey. “Science Friction” tries to jump into some electro-house territory, but does it so gently, you almost don’t see it in full. Finally, “Sunday With B Mary” feels like some kind of yacht rock house – truly a B-side of a B-side.

The concept is really interesting, must say, let’s see what we’ll have in the future. But so far, you can buy this one from Besides on Juno, Deejay, or Decks.
